The Old Town is characterized by narrow cobblestone streets and the facades of old houses and is considered an area of great historic and architectural value. A walk up by Rua de Santa Maria, one of the city’s oldest streets, will take you to the beautiful Socorro Church. At the top, there is also a small belvedere where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city✨ Nightlife in the Old Town is currently a great attraction where art and entertainment come together, as the streets in the area have been transformed by the work of local and foreign artists. The project represents one of the facets of urban art and culture in the city.
There is a public parking lot in the back which you can use for your rental car. Many bus stops are down the block as are, a selection of appealing shops, restaurants, and cafes. Sightseeing bus stop (hop on/hop off) at 1-minute walking distance.
